“Seeing comes before words. The child looks and recognizes before it can speak. But there is another sense in which seeing comes before words. It is seeing which establishes our place in the surrounding world; we explain that world without words, but words can never undo the fact that we are surrounded by it. ” – John Berger

An interesting way to describe the world of art, comes from the introduction of Berger’s book entitled “Ways of Seeing”   Art is all around us and is a produced effort to express ourselves in a variety of mediums. I look at Korean artists and what motivates them to express themselves in this way.
